Moving from Trainerize
- 01Export your client list from Trainerize as a CSV, and your programs as spreadsheets or PDFs (screenshots work too).
- 02Import the programs into CoachVana: each file is parsed into days, exercises, sets and reps, exercises matched to the library, rest days kept. Review and save to your library.
- 03Import the client CSV, map the columns once, and every client gets an invite with their intake answers attached. Assign their program in the same step.
- 04Set up your plans on your Stripe account, then move each client's billing on the day their old subscription would renew, so nobody pays twice.
- 05Run both for two weeks, then cancel Trainerize.
Questions
- Is CoachVana cheaper than Trainerize?
- At the base price they are close at small rosters. The difference is the add-ons: Trainerize's meal planner is $20 to $45 a month and Stripe payments are $10 a month on every plan below Studio, so a coach with 30 clients who wants both pays about $134 a month against CoachVana's $54, where both are included.
- Does Trainerize have nutrition tracking built in?
- Yes, macro, calorie and meal-photo tracking are native on paid plans. The meal-plan generator (Smart Meal Planner) is a separate paid add-on. On CoachVana, tracking, meal plans and plan import are all in the one price.
- Can I move my Trainerize programs to CoachVana?
- Yes. Export or screenshot each program, then import it: the file is parsed into days, exercises, sets and reps and matched to CoachVana's exercise library. Clients import from a CSV export.
